Dan Kennedy and Bill Glazer
Dan Kennedy and Bill Glazer are co-partners of an entrepreneur marketing network called the Glazer-Kennedy Insider’s Circle. Kennedy has been a top-notch and widely respected businessman and consultant for decades; Glazer joined his team in 2003 after several years of achieving success through following Kennedy’s business advice. Today, the pair continues to develop their Insider’s Circle network for ambitious entrepreneurs, encouraging business owners to combine effective marketing with hard work to improve their sales and profitability.
Dan Kennedy has been an active part of the business community and the marketing niche in particular for over 30 years. He has written 11 books, several of which are widely distributed throughout the U.S. He is internationally famous for his “no B.S.” approach to improving business efficiency, avoiding the hype that most moneymaking programs employ and focusing instead on actual tactics that have proven to be effective. Kennedy has worked in a variety of markets and delved into many different niches, gathering experience and knowledge that he willingly shares with entrepreneurs looking for guidance. He is often called “the millionaire maker” for the impact he makes on businesses’ profit margins. Kennedy also teaches workshops and speaks at conferences about the business world in general and marketing in particular. Kennedy’s business strategies are known for being widely applicable, regardless of audience or niche.
Like Kennedy, Bill Glazer developed his marketing and business expertise through hands-on experience. In 1974, he graduated from the University of Maryland and joined the family retail business running two men’s clothing stores in Baltimore. For the next 20 years, he and his family worked long hours to make their stores successful. While his business was going well, Glazer was unsatisfied with the amount of effort he and his family had to contribute to make it happen. When he accompanied a friend to a success seminar in Philadelphia, Glazer saw Kennedy speak and was immediately sold on the strategies presented. He implemented what he had learned and his stores soon were among the top 10 men’s retailers in the country. His initial approval at Kennedy’s advice was cemented as he maximized his marketing ventures and improved his profits.
In 1997, Glazer met Kennedy in person when he came to Maryland to give a seminar. Kennedy was so impressed with Glazer’s knowledge of his material and his application of the Kennedy strategy in the retail market that Kennedy immediately asked Glazer to start lecturing on the topic of Kennedy’s business practices in the retail market.
Glazer and Kennedy further joined forces in 2003, increasing the impact of Kennedy’s Insider’s Circle network while continuing their solo speaking and business careers on the side. Glazer’s fame has increased from his involvement with Kennedy, and in 2010 he wrote “Outrageous Advertising That’s Outrageously Successful: Created for the 99% of Small Business Owners Who Are Dissatisfied with the Results They Get.” Today, the pair is known as some of the most knowledgeable, influential men in small-business marketing, proposing strategies that work for a wide variety of niches.
Today, the Glazer-Kennedy Insider’s Circle attracts up to a thousand new members each month, while hundreds more subscribe to their newsletters, hire them for consulting, and listen to their lectures and marketing conferences. The pair is well known among established marketers as well, often speaking at marketing summits and sharing the stage at conferences with other marketing greats. Glazer-Kennedy’s Insider’s Circle is particularly known for creating a community for beginning and experienced marketers to trade ideas, brainstorm, and share experiences. In what is known to be a notably competitive field, the Insider’s Circle creates a space for marketers of all levels and from all niches to come together and talk about what’s working, what isn’t and what the future of marketing looks like.
